The exterior in red brick had a narrow corner frontage containing a glass and metal tall window at second and third floor levels with five square windows in a spacing below, the middle three being in line with the tall windows above.

It seems highly likely that they will concentrate on those sites where they have existing leases before they look to acquire new premises, and it is my understanding that they have already made a site visit to investigate just such a possibility in Bdighton Street.
There is nothing that the council or anyone else could do to prevent this, since all the necessary planning consents are already in place and have been for many years.
Although Jack Hylton works for over brightoh hours a day and gives his staff very little rest, he is one of the best loved men in the theatre. The choice being presented to Brighton for this prime location in the heart of the town is not between a theatre or shops, it is more likely to be between shops and a nightclub with a bookies essopdo door.
