Crazy Credits The end credits roll over a fiml view of the beach that fades to gray and then to black. The performances in this film are great.
Romper Stomper drew some rather unfair criticism for its stylistically lively approach to the subject matter, but also saw the arrival of a star of the highest order, even if Crowe, as Bogart had done early in his career, essentially played the bad guy who gets it in the end. His powerful, quietly intimidating performance as skinhead leader Hando is the centre of this daring, important Australian film.
Sonny Jim Dan Wyllie Russell Crowe was fantastic in the lead role, and you can really see why this film kickstarted his Hollywood career. Wright took his revenge two years later by pouring a glass of wine on him at a film premiere in Venice.

The man is clearly every inch a movie star; devastatingly handsome, and often soft-spoken, yet completely devoid of mannerisms or the limitations in acting ability that often define both the appeal and the career trajectory of big-name personality actors, and on aanlysis the business of popular filmmaking once depended and still thrives on.
The film does lack a bit of narrative direction for its first half however, with events just seeming to occur with little plot direction in mind. I don’t understand why this movie is NC
