Yes, Deniece’s Unsung special was great. I agree that Unsung does get some facts twisted on many of the artists they focus on. Deniece’s ep was boring as hell “Lack of home training crosses all boundaries. I thought it may have been just a record company thing. I prefer Jody’s story over the Shalamar Unsung episode! And no Millie hasn’t gotten one yet! I’m glad she ain’t reuniting with those bozos.

Also didn’t know that she married her producer, Brad I don’t know his last name. Did she explain why? It wasn’t boring to me, but they did not dig deep enough into her dark side at all to me. Did anyone catch Deniece Williams’ Episoves episode on Monday night? That she didn’t get a special or shouldn’t get a special? I thought it may have been just a record company thing. Yeah, she let him produce her disc “Hot On the Trail”. Her clear delivery and her understated, girl-next-door style won for her a slew of fans and established for her a solid — if often underrated – catalog of hits. Speaking of Unsung, I am over here dying laughing at these series of vids!
He did ok on her “So Glad I know” album which was about the same time. Tevin Campbell would be another great person as well, but they constantly overlook him.
Soul Music Biographies, News and Reviews. I liked the episode and I did learn a few things about her that I never knew. If you didn’t, don’t worry. She really must’ve hated that Unsung episode. I love this best of collection: But overall, it was great.

Album of the Month – Alicia Olatuja – Intuition: Saying that “Silly” was followed by the next single “It’s Gonna Take A Miracle” made is sound like they were from the same album.

I’m glad she ain’t reuniting with those bozos. Wonder fell in love with her sweet, feminine voice, and hired her for what turned into a three-year stint as part of his vocal group, Wonderlove. Not a good look. All you haters will see! This should be the no brainer IMO.
